Castle School Champions with Sarah from Bakers Associates We’re a team of four who are working hard to make Taunton town centre fit for the 21^st Century. It’s not always easy, especially since the recession hit the country’s economy, however your town really is changing and we’re ready for the challenge.

When you leave school or college you may choose to stay in Taunton, in which case you’ll be Taunton’s community of the future. If you move away, you’ll probably come back to visit friends or family; either way you’re unlikely to lose contact with the town altogether.

You might think it’s about time Taunton improved or you might like it just the way it is. Your opinions about the old cattle market being replaced by offices; the River Tone; activities in town for people your age, or what’s on at the Brewhouse etc., are important.

Getting involved

There will be occasions when the people we work with eg. architects, designers and council officers want to talk to you about their plans. When these opportunities arise, we’ll post details on this page so keep visiting.
